I've had quite a few people ask about the new scallop edge punch that Stampin' UP! will be offering in the upcoming 2008 Fall--Winter Idea Book & Catalog. Here is a picture of one of my convention swap cards that uses just a tiny bit of the border punch:
The stamp set is also new and it is called Dreams du Jour. I used Elegant Eggplant and Pretty in Pink. The "dreams" image is stamped on shimmery white cardstock and has a beautiful, subtle sparkle.
The scallop border punch works in 2 inch increments and the scallops on the long part act as a guide for continuous punching. Therefore, you can now create long scallop borders without much effort!
The individual scallops measure approximately 3/8", and as you can see in the photo, 1 inch is equal to about 2-1/2 scallops.
This punch will be available to order on August 11th and will sell for $15.95 US. It looks like there will be many MUST-HAVE items from the new catalog. Consider joining a club to budget your purchases this fall and receive some great freebies!
