Welcome to the Monday Montage Blog Hop! We've got some great projects to share with you today, so make sure you take the time to visit all 10 blogs. You can navigate through the hop by clicking on the Back and Next buttons at the bottom of this post.
There was a big drop in the temperature today and the leaves are definitely starting to turn. I'm officially in the mood for Fall! I love the colors, the pumpkins, the falling leaves, and I love to start decorating the house.
I've been seeing a ton of burlap wreaths on Pinterest and I knew I
wanted one for my front door. There are lots of tutorials online for
how to make the wreath. That part is really easy. I then added a
store-bought wooden letter for our last name. The final touch was the
leaves. I cut them with my Big Shot using the Autumn Accents Bigz Die
and the Sweater Weather Designer Series Paper.
I crumpled the leaves, then smoothed them out a bit before hot gluing them to the wreath. I had a few leaves left over, so I had to find something to do with them.
I am absolutely loving the new Build-a-Banner
kits from Stampin' Up! I've already made the Halloween & Christmas
banner, but I wanted something for my mantle before the holiday
season. I think this fits the bill perfectly.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!
WOW! Both of your projects are stunning. What great decor pieces!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous wreath! Burlap is my favourite material for wreaths at the moment too! So versatile & Autumn-y!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects, Melissa! I love the way you've used the burlap -- it's so perfectly arranged. And all of your leaves are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that wreath!!! The use of the extra leaves for the banner was a great idea too :) I think I will be making both of these myself soon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful wreath. Your banner and colors are great.
