UGH!!!

I hope you enjoyed the SUDSOL Blog Tour yesterday.  There were some great projects shared, don't you agree?

Now for some bad news.....my hard drive on my computer DIED this week.  I am waiting on my computer guy to tell me if it can be revived or if I'll need to replace it.  Either way, I have very limited access to a computer right now.  Here is what that means for you:

• Slightly longer wait times for email response.  Please allow up to 48 hours.


• No video project this month for the Virtual Stamp Club members.  However, I will be sending you a PDF tutorial in the mail, along with a bonus sample.  Depending on when my computer returns to life, you may still get a video.


• Minimal blog posts.  I'll be updating my FACEBOOK page, so if you haven't liked it already, you might want to follow me there.

The last thing I did on my computer was list all of my retired stamps, punches, and big shot dies for sale.  You can see the list here.  If you email me, I will try to get back with you as quickly as possible.  Just be patient with me.  ;0)

 

 

SUDSOL Blog Tour

Welcome to the Sudsol Blog Tour!  It is so much fun to see what everyone has created.  The demonstrators of SUDSOL are always sharing great ideas.

Sometimes the new catalog can be a bit overwhelming.  You don't need everything to create a wide variety of projects.  Here are 3 cards that you can create with 1 package of Designer Series paper, 1 stamp set, and a few embellishments.  

Here is what you'll need:

STAMP SET:  Label Love

INK:  Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzaz, Daffodil Delight

PAPER:  Whisper White, Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzaz, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper

ACCESSORIES:  Paper Doilies, Brights Candy Dots, Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain

PUNCHES:  Artisan Label, 3/16" Corner, 2-1/2" Circle, 7/8" scallop circle

This is such a simple card.  I'm not sure who will be receiving it.....I've got a lot of "best friends".  LOL

I love the color combo of Island Indigo and Daffodil Delight, don't you?

New Catalog Launch Party

This morning, I held my new catalog launch party for my local customers.  I thought you might like to see what we did.  ;0)

Our Make & Take featured the 2013-2015 In Colors and the Mosaic Madness Bundle.  The "happy birthday" is from a hostess set called Banner Greetings.

The Mosaic images were stamped in Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantelope, and Coastal Cabana.  Then, they were punched with the coordinating Mosaic punch.  And don't you love the matching embossing folder?  Just think of all the fun combinations you can create with these products!!

Everyone that placed an order at the open house got to take one of these cute treats home with them (inspired by Becky Roberts).  I wrapped chocolate bars in the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper......it's definitely one of my favorites!  The clothespins were covered with the coordinating Washi Tape. 

Several of my customers decided to sign up for the Virtual Stamp Club.  As a bonus, they received a "Colors I Own" book to keep track of their ink pad, re-inker, and marker purchases PLUS a bonus FREE ink pad of thier choice.  I am going to extend this bonus to anyone that signs up for the Virtual Stamp Club before June 3rd.

I will send you an email at the beginning of each month as a reminder to place your club order.  The email will include a hostess code for you to enter at checkout.  You may order any products in my online store----stamps, accessories, tools, digital downloads, clearance rack items.  As a club member, you have agreed to place a $30 minimum order (before tax & shipping) every month for 6 months.  You have until the 15th of the month to place your order.

On the 16th of the month, I will send you a link to an exclusive online class.  If there is a project or technique that you would like to learn during your club membership, please let me know.  I'm happy to include some "member's choice" projects in upcoming classes.

CLEARLY......It's a Sneak Peek!

My stamp room has invaded the rest of my house this weekend.  The wonderful hubby decided the long holiday would be the perfect opportunity to re-do the floor in my stamp room......and apparently also the kitchen.  People have often asked me how we are able to work together and stay happily married.  Let me just say that it is a good thing that we are not in the home improvement, house flipping, or construction business. 

Fortunately, I was able to gather a few of my goodies to share a sneak peek from the new catalog.  I used the Mojo 295 Sketch for the layout.  The card measures 4" x 4" and was created from a window sheet that was printed with a Whisper White quatrefoil design.  All of the patterned paper and the window sheet are included in the Quatrefancy Specialty Designer Series Paper.

And how about that greeting?  Don't you just love it?  It's perfect for my daughter who thinks that every day should be all about her.  This greeting is in the stamp set called Really Good Greetings.  I think you'll find some really fun & hip greeting stamps in this new catalog!

You only have to wait until Friday to see it all!   I'll be hosting an
open house on Saturday from 10am--noon at my stamp studio.  Pick up your new catalog and create a quick make & take project.  I'd love to see you there!
