One of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog is Christmas Lodge. The coordinating Frostwood Lodge Designer Series Paper evokes such a feeling of warmth.....I just love these together!
So, obviously I had to create 2 cards for the 2011 Holiday Stamp-a-Stacks using these items. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the class participants really liked these cards, too! These cards came together very quickly and would be great to mass produce.

The Online Extravaganza begins on Monday. I'll be posting details as soon as I know more, but be ready for some out of this world deals!
Sorry I've been MIA for a week. My parents came to visit last weekend, there was a death in the family, and I'm apparently going to be a single mom during deer hunting season.
I've also been making the final preparations for my Holiday Stamp-a-Stacks. The class attendees will be making 8 cards and I'm going to share them all with you over the next week. My goal was to make cards that would "WOW" the recipient, but would be easy enough to mass produce. I also tried to use a small number of products on each card, so as not to break the bank.
Online Extravaganza starts on Monday! Take advantage of great savings, like FREE digital downloads valued at $40 when you buy My Digital Studio Express, 60 percent off select Designer Fabrics, and 30 percent off an exclusive ribbon bundle! In addition, there will be two items on sale for 24 hours only (November 21, 12:01 AM - 11:59 PM [MT]). Visit http://stampdoc.stampinup.net on Monday to learn more.
You may remember that I created a card for a punch art swap at convention featuring Angry Birds. So, when I needed to create a project for UStamp with Dawn & Friends Knockout Punches, I knew that I wanted to take the Angry Birds theme a little more over the top. Here is my project:
Now I know I have said this about every session of UStamp, but Knockout Punches is absolutely fantastic!!! The designers have created over 50 projects featuring different ways to use Stampin' Up! punches. Each project has lots of photos and complete instructions for you to download. What a treat! Stampin' Up! is giving EVERYONE free digital downloads this weekend in celebration of Digital Scrapbooking Day. Just visit www.mydigitalstudio.net to fill out a brief survey and you'll be to download the following digital content:
Please note that you do not have to have My Digital Studio to USE OR purchase these downloads - you may use them in any program that supports .jpg and .png files & layers such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Jasc Paint Shop Pro (PSP), Microsoft Digital Image Pro (DIP), Ulead Photo Impact (PI), Corel Draw.
Of course, I had to play with my new goodies, so I decided to create a 2-page scrapbook layout with some of our Halloween pictures. I used the "smile" from the So Typefelt Stamp Brush Set. Be sure to check out The Stamp Doc on Facebook to see the coordinating page.
And I could not wait to create some photo cards for Christmas with the Home for the Holidays ensemble! I used the 5x7 card template and simply added a few photos and changed the greeting. This card literally took less than 5 minutes to create!
So what are you waiting for? Go get your FREE digital downloads and start creating cards, scrapbook pages, and more.
To purchase the My Digital Studio software or any additional downloads, be sure to visit my Stampin' Up! website.
Welcome to the SUDSOL Blog Tour! I have been a member of SUDSOL for LONG time....almost as long as I've been a demonstrator. I always recommend this group to my fellow demonstrators, as many of us consider it our unofficial "upline". You will find tons of samples, tutorials, class ideas, and plenty of ideas for growing your Stampin' Up! business.
One of the greatest thing about SUDSOL is the access to project tutorials. I will be adding this tutorial to the SUDSOL website along with the video tutorial. Both of them are available at the end of this post.
I shared these Jr. Legal Pad Covers on my blog last year as part of my series of articles on craft fairs. With so many beautiful new papers in the Idea Book & Catalog and Holiday Mini, I thought it would be a good idea to freshen up my samples for some upcoming fairs. I keep the designs very simple, so that these are quick & easy to make. This project is also perfect for stamp camps and special classes.
