Getting Buggy!

As most of you know, I rarely use anything that isn't Stampin' UP!  However, last year I received the Cuttlebug for my birthday and a Cricut for Christmas.  I'll be honest.....they've collected some dust and have been feeling neglected.

I'm going to show you a layout that I completed using both of my machines, and of course, there is stamping too!  I am working on a baby album for Chandler (he's only 10) and I came across this lone picture of him in a pirate costume.  I am guessing by the expression on his face that he wasn't in the mood for any additional pictures.

It's Mystery Hostess Week

I've been busy.....

Wow! It's been 2 weeks since I updated my blog and I'm sure many of you have wondered where I've been.  Well, we moved our chiropractic office last week---in the middle of the week---with no interruption of service to our patients.  At the same time, Bella decided it would be a good time to get all of her teeth!  I've never seen anything like it......she had 4 teeth 2 weeks ago and now she has everything except her bottom right molars.  So, as you can imagine, I've been sleep-deprived, my back hurts from painting and unpacking, and there just hasn't been much time to stamp.  Hopefully, I can get some creative time this weekend now that everything is settling down.

We did have scrapbook club this weekend and I thought some of you might like to see what we made.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new Berry Bliss Designer Series Paper and this page really showcases the coordinating colors of Purely Pomegranate, Close to Cocoa, and Pretty in Pink.  My club members also got to try their hands at heat embossing (see the swirly border), and they got to use elements from the hodgepodge hardware and pretties kit.  The floral border at the bottom of the page was created by stamping the 3-flower stamp from One of a Kind in the 3 coordinating colors, then punching the flowers with the new Boho Blossoms punch.
